John Sykes Cates], John [1811-1831], William A [3/25/1813-3/11/1863][m. 1833 Sarah Sykes], Daniel K. [1815], Sophia [10/03/1820-1/28/1858], Nancy Esther [1821], David [3/19/1822-1900], John Andrew [9/13/1826-12/23/1869 or 1899], Sophronia [1827-1860] & Cynthia [1829-1830]. John departed this life after 31 December 1831 at Bedford, Bedford County, Tennessee. He was still living at the writing of his step mother's will signed on this date.
