     Michel was born on Sunday, 11 April 1677 in Cote de Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 13 April 1677 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 Michel married Elisabeth Albert on 23 November 1694 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon at St-Joseph Church.2 Michel & Elisabeth had children: Michel [10/17/1695-5/02/1721], Elisabeth [2/15/1697-10/19/1774][m. 7/20/1720 Jacques Bernier], Marie Josephe [10/09/1698-11/05/1698], Marie Angelique [1/23/1700-11/15/1727][m. 9/29/1727 Joseph Marie Caron], Marie Catherine [12/19/1701-4/12/1787][m. 8/03/1745 Joachim Girard & 2nd 5/03/1762 Pierre Langlois], Marie Louise [1707-4/05/1776][m. 7/23/1736 Pierre Grenet], Laurent [9/29/1709-2/16/1710], Laurent [7/14/1711-9/05/1711], & Marie Anne Francoise [3/21/1713-4/01/1763][m. 7/30/1736 Joseph Marie Lemieux].3 Michel's wife, Elisabeth, died on 19 February 1736 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon leaving him a widower. Michel departed this life on Friday, 8 December 1752 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon at age 75 years, 7 months and 27 days. He was buried there in the cemetery of St-Joseph on Sunday, 10 December 1752.4
