Hannah Griffing

     Hannah was born in 1694 in Lyme, New London County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Jasper Griffing. Hannah married Daniel Vail, son of John Vail and Grace Braddick, on 10 October 1717. Daniel & Hannah had children: Daniel, Lydia, Joseph, Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Ruth, Micah, Samuel, Nathan, Peter, Silas, Daniel, Jasper, Hannah, Elizabeth, and Mary. Hannah departed this life on Tuesday, 4 October 1746 in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, at age 52 years.
