Marguerite was born on Thursday, 20 July 1730 in Pointe-de-Levy, Lauzon, Levis County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 21 July 1730 in St-Joseph Church.¹ Marguerite married Antoine Declos, son of Andre Declos and Marie Ondarague, on 13 September 1754 in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada, at St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup Church.² Marguerite's husband, Antoine, died on 23 August 1806 in Louiseville leaving her a widow. Marguerite departed this life on Thursday, 22 January 1807 in Louiseville at age 76 years, 6 months and 2 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Antoine-de-Padau, Riviere-du-Loup on Friday, 23 January 1807.³
