Hannah Gifford

     Hannah was born in Milford, New Haven County, Connecticut. Hannah married Jehiel Beardsley, son of John Beardsley and Keziah Wheeler, in 1755 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. The famlly resided at Bennington, Bennington County, Vermont. Jehiel and Hannah had children: Cyrus [1764-], Sylvia [1766-][m. 1/14/1844 John Dutcher], Emanuel [1767-4/23/1824][m. 1787 Clotilda Hosford], Beverly [1770-][m. 2/13/1791 Ada Curtis & 2nd. Betsy Blake], Jehiel Jr. [11/6/1772-9/25/1851][m. Hannah Griffin] & 2nd. 1812 Jane White], John [1773-][m. 1800 Katherine White], Keziah [1775-][m. Seth Bull] & Eunice [1783-][m. 1800 Nehemiah White].
