     Robert was born. Robert was a planter in the South River District, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Robert made his will on 28 September 1694.

In the Name of God Amen the last Will & Testament of Robert Wade of South River in the County of Annarundell in the province of Maryland this Twenty Eight day of September 1694 being in good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same And whereas it hath pleased almighty God of his greate Goodness to bestow and Settle upon me something of a worldly Estate tho but small and willing to bestow and settle the same in such manner and to the persons hereafter named All former wills whether verball or written I doo by these presents make Null and voide And doo ratife & confirme this my last Will & Testament in manner and forme following
Imprimis I give and bequeath my Soule to Almighty God that gave it me Trusting that he there & by the merits of Jesus Christ will grant and give me pardon for my Sins and receive me into his Everlasting Joy and Rest Amen:
Item I give and bequeath my body to the Earth whence it was taken by decent burial to be interred to the discretion of my Executor hereafter named
Item I give unto my Son Robert Wade the hundred acres of Woodland ground that Joynes to my Plantacon to him and his heirs forever never to be Sould or mortgaged: and if my Sonn should dye without heyre that then his hundred acres of Land shall goe to my Grandson Robert Bayly unto him and his heyres forever never to be sold or mortgaged but to be Intailed Land for ever:
And the plantacon that I doe now live upon I doe give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Wade never to be sould nor mortgaged but to be Intailed Land forever And if my daughter Jan doth dye without heyres of her own body that then her plantacon shall goe to my daughter Teemperance and her heyres forever never to be sold nor mortgaged: but to be Intailed Land forever:
And my Son Robert Wade and my daughter Jane are are to Live together until either of them be married And if my daughter Jane doe marry That then my Son shall live upon the plantacon with her for the Terme of Seven years from the day of the date hereof:
Item I doe give unto my Grandson Robert Bayly one white faced Cow called May Flower
Item I do give on heifer called by the name of Gentle unto Thomas Bayly: and to my daughter Temperance I do give one Cow called Blossome to be delivered the last of October:
Item I doe give unto my Son Robert Wade one Called Nanny and two heifers called primrose and Colly:
Item I doe give unto my daughter Jane two heifers called by the name of Beauty and Spring
Item I doe give unto my daughter Preseverance Bayly on Cow Calfe
Item I doe give unto my Son Robert my old Mare and to my daughter Jane the young mare and the first mare Colt that same mare doeth bring my daughter Temperance is to have and the first mare colt my son Roberts mare shall bring I give to my Grandson Robert Bayly:
Item I doe give my daughter Jane the feather bed & what belongs to it and my son Robert Wade the fflock bed and the Mill with the greatt Chest Son Robert and my daughter Jane
And if William Horngold will live with my Son and Daughter he shall have two years Lodging and four barrels of Corn per yeare & paying for his Cask and Services and to build a small house for his wife to live in
And I do give to my Grandchild Jane Westall my great Bible:
And further doe declare that my son Robert Wade shall not buy nor Sell any thing without the advise and consent of his Brother George Westall until he come of the Age of ffour and Twenty years: and if the said George Westall shall happen to dye that then my Neighbor William Batemann is to have his power: And I doe Request George westall and my Neighbor to be an assistance to my Son Robert and my daughter Jane in this my will
