     Marie-Scholastique was born on Monday, 22 March 1756 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the Manor of Chevrotiere. She was christened on the same day there in the church of St-Joseph.1 Marie-Scholastique married Francois-Joseph Langevin dit Bronsard on 26 November 1781 in Deschambault at the church of St-Joseph.2 Joseph & Scholastique had children: Joseph [1/09/1783-7/22/1817], Francois Archange [1/09/1783-10/30/1801], Marguerite [2/23/1786][m. 1/11/1808 Amable Courteau] , Antoine [2/27/179011/09/1822][m. 10/01/1816 Marie Roy dit Mazeret], Nathalie [3/04/1792-1/29/1827][m. 3/01/1813 Julien Courteau] & Marie-Luce [9/23/1797][m. 1/10/1820 David Baril].3 Marie-Scholastique's husband, Francois-Joseph, died on 14 October 1808 in St-Pierre-les-Becquets, Nicolet County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Marie-Scholastique departed this life on Wednesday, 23 March 1831 in St-Pierre-les-Becquets at age 75 years and 1 day. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Pierre-les-Becquets on Thursday, 24 March 1831.4
