Susanna Francis

     Susanna was born on Wednesday, 1 November 1651 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Robert Francis of Wethersfield. John married Susanna Francis, son of John North and Mary Bird, on 15 April 1671 at Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut, by Captain Samuel Wells.¹ John & Susanna had children: John [8/16/1672-1/16/1733] [m. Elizabeth Smith], Mary [10/18/1674] [m. Thomas Marshall] & Susannah [4/15/1676-4/23/1764] [m. 1/18/1694 Sergt. Benjamin Judd]. Susanna's husband, John, died on 6 August 1682 in Wethersfield at Newington Parish leaving her a widow. She married second, John Sterdman on 4/14/1683 in Wethersfield, and had a son, Thomas by him.¹ Susanna departed this life on Monday, 14 April 1727 in Wethersfield at age 75 years, 5 months and 13 days.
