He gave to his grandchildren: John Hayes and Elizabeth Hayes. He gave tohis grandchildren: Robert, Susan, Thomas and Elizabeth Cutt. He gave to his sister Elizabeth Smith, widow. He gave to his son-in-law John Hayes. He gave to his children: John, Thomas, Samuel and Ellen Foote, £100 a piece over portion, the sons at 21 years. He gave to his sister Alice Sawle. He gave to his servant Daniel Foote. He gave to his loving friend Mr. Grene, parson of the parish church of Royston. He gave the residue to his wife Margaret executrix. He made as overseers his son-in-law Mr. Robert Clement and loving brother Mr. Thomas Brooke. He heft the house and yard at Royston to his son Samuel.
