Martha Ferris

     Martha was born circa 1675 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York. Martha married Daniel Clarke in New York. Martha's husband, Daniel, died before 23 January 1727 in Westchester, Westchester County, New York, leaving her a widow. On 25 April 1753, her brother, Jonathan Ferris. leaves her a room in his home in his will. Martha departed this life before 26 November 1753 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York. Her brother, Jonathan leaves her a room in his house in his will dated 25 April 1753. Her Letters of Administration were granted to her brother Peter Ferris on 26 November 1753. Martha is listed as recipient of New York Administrative Bonds in 1754 presumably from her husband's will.
