Anthony Badgley

     Anthony was born on Wednesday, 29 June 1768 in Columbia County, New York. Anthony married Sarah Jane Ferguson on 17 March 1792 in Prince Edward, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, at East Lake.¹ Anthony and Sarah Jane had children: Stephen [5/20/1793], Rose [1794], Rosell [5/19/1795-8/02/1892] & James David [1800]. Anthony, along with Jonathan Ferguson Sr. and Jr. were early settlers of East Lake. They were among those whos settled on the south side of the lake.² Anthony's wife, Sarah, died before 17 March 1802 in East Lake, Prince Edward, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada, leaving him a widower. Anthony married 2nd Mary Gould on 17 March 1802 in Striling, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.¹ Anthony and Mary had children: Samuel [7/21/1803-11/03/1809] [ Jane Snyder], Catherine [10/15/1805-5/19/1900] [m. Christopher Snyder], Elizabeth [2/23/1807], Joseph [9/04 1808-7/26/1882] [m. 10/10/1835 Emily Sagar & 2nd 1842 Almira Smith], Elenor [10/16/1810-8/19/1851], Rachel [8/__/1811], Nancy Ann [4/27/1814] [m. 1830 Thomas Jinks], Vanejam [4/27/1814], Mariah Cooper [10/16/1816-9/22/1891] [12/01/1833 William James Gerow], Prescilla [12/21/1818-12/09/1909] [m. 11/25/1841 William John Trumpour] & Benjamin Van Winkel [7/21/1821] [m. 5/19/1842 Jane Huff]. Anthony departed this life in 1861 in Prince Edward at East Lake at age 92 years.
