     Marie-Madeleine was born on Tuesday, 4 June 1715 in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened on the same day accross the river in Sorel at St-Pierre Church.1 A contract for the marriage of Marie-Madeleine & Alexis Casaubon was signed on 27 July 1734. It notes that Alixis was 25 years old, son of Martin Casaubon, Captain Major of the Militia, the family residing at Berthier. Also Madeleine was 19 years old, the daughter of Charles Fafart..2 Marie-Madeleine departed this life in Berthierville, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada.3 She was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Friday, 16 October 1789.
