Mary was born in Wrawby, Lincolnshire, England. She was christened there on 30 November 1677 in St. Mary the Virgin Church.1 Mary married Thomas Colton on 28 November 1700 in Bigby, Lincolnshire, England, at All Saints Church.2,3 Mary's husband, Thomas, died circa 22 December 1712 in Wrawby, leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life in Wrawby. She was buried there in St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard on Wednesday, 3 October 1725. She was noted in the Wrawby Church records as Mary, wife of Thomas Coulton buried.4
