     Baldwin de was born in 1223 in Drayton, Northamptonshire, England.2 On 26 August 1253, Sir Henry did homage to the King & received the estate & titles of his father which Queen Eleanor was the witness.3 Baldwin married Idonia de Gimiles, daughter of Robert de Gimiles, in 1253 in England. He acquired Botolph Bridge Manor as a result of this marriage.4 In 1264, Baldwin was engaged in battle against King Henry III. In the Battle at Lewes, on 14 May 1264, he was captured and held prisoner. In June of the same year, peace was declared and an order was given by the King to bring all prisoners to London. In December, all lands were taken from the King's former advisaries, but two years later, Baldwin received a pardon and all his lands and estates were returned to him. He was siezed of all these lands at the time of his death.5 Baldwin departed this life before 10 June 1278 in Drayton, Northamptonshire, England.
