     Sarah was born on Thursday, 9 September 1700 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York. [she was a twin of John] Sarah married Joseph Doty in 1721 in Elizabeth Town, Essex County, New Jersey. Joseph & Sarah had children: Joseph Jr. [1722], George [1723], John [1725], Elizabeth [1728], Anthony [1730] & Sarah [1735]. They came to Elizabethtown with Sarah's brothers in 1736, and settled in Stony Hill Valley. He was a trustee of the New Providence Presbyterian Church. Sarah's husband, Joseph, died on 10 September 1768 in Elizabeth Town leaving her a widow. Sarah departed this life on Thursday, 30 June 1785 in New Providence Town at age 84 years, 9 months and 21 days. Letters of Administration of her estate were granted on 20 August 1785 to her son George..
