     Franklin F. was born on Thursday, 14 November 1850 in Tiffin, Clinton Township, Seneca County, Ohio. He was the son of Francis F & Mary [Seits] Detray. He was often referred to as Frank. Franklin married Barbara Beery, daughter of Jonathan Beery and Magdalena Corfman, on 21 March 1872 in McCutchinsville, Tymochtee Township, Wyandot County, Ohio. Claycomb]. 1 June 1880, Franklin and his wife, Barbara, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Seneca Township, Seneca County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Frank Detray [29 Ohio], his wife: Barbara [33 Ohio], children: Ada [7 Ohio], Anna [5 Ohio], & Nelson [10/12 Ohio].¹ 4 June 1900, the U.S. Federal Census lists Franklin residing in a rooming house at 84 Washington Street, Tiffin, Clinton Township, Seneca County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were Frank DeTray [49 Ohio - November 1850] - living with William H. Keller He was a dealer in cheese.² Franklin departed this life on Monday, 26 March 1917 in Seneca Township at age 66 years, 4 months and 12 days.³ He was buried there in the Methodist Cemetery.
