     Marie was born in Porcheresse, Angouleme, Charente, Poitou-Charentes, France. She was the daughter of Elie Deneau & Marie-Marguerite Lafond. Marie married Etienne Vienne circa 1636. Marie and her husband Etienne immigrated on the ship In 1648, Etienne and Marie, with their family, left France and immigrated to Quebec. A contract was drawn up by notary Saverin Ameau, for the marriage of Marie and Jacques Archambault. It was signed on 26 January 1666 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. The contract listed her as a widow of Louis Ozanne, and her parents as Elie Denot & Lafont. It also gave Jacque's widow as Francoise Tourault and his father as Antoine Archambault.. 1666, Marie was listed on the Canadian Census in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada.
