Hannah Comfort Miller1

     Hannah Comfort was born on Sunday, 1 June 1704 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Benjamin Miller and Mary Johnson. Hannah Comfort married Ephraim Coe, son of Captain John Coe and Mary Hawley, on 28 November 1723 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2 Ephraim & Hannah had children: Ephraim [7/25/1724-2/06/1778][m. 10/17/1754 Anne Canfield], Samuel [8/05/1726-7/27/1790][m. 7/03/1746 Dorcas Allen & 2nd 1750 Hope Hubbard], Timothy [10/15/1728-11/06/1733], Aaron [2/16/1731-10/30/1794][m. 11/28/1754 Phebe Parsons & 2nd 1/02/1776 Mary Seward], Daniel [12/20/1732-11/30/1733], Seth [12/31/1734-10/12/1761], Enoch [11/12/1736-12.18/1782][m. 11/06/1768 Catherine Camp], Mary [3/24/1740-703/1795][m. 5/12/1763 Captain Benjamin Barnes], Benjamin [3/07/1742][m. 1780 Jemima Provin] & possibly Diana [m. 11/05/1766 Ebenezer Strong]. Hannah's husband, Ephraim, died on 10 November 1765 in Durham leaving her a widow. Hannah departed this life in February 1793 in Granville at age 88 years and 8 months.
