Agnes (?)

Agnes was born. Agnes married Hugh Turvile, son of Ralph Turvile. Agnes's husband, Hugh, died on 9 October 1347, leaving her a widow. She was buried at Leicestershire, England, in the Church at Thurlston. Agnes departed this life on Monday, 7 July 1349. She and her husband Hugh have memorial effigies in the church. The inscription on hers reads, "Here lies Agnes Turvile, who died the seventh day of July in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ one thousand three hundred and forty nine, - on whose soul may God have mercy."1
