Leonard Debord de la Jeunesse

M, b. 1637
     Leonard was born in Argenton-sur-Creuse, Indre, Centre, France.1 He was christened there in December 1637 in St-Jean Church. A contract for the marriage of Leonard and Anne Hayot was signed on 7 December 1678 in Sillery, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. The notary Gilles Rabot drew up the contract noting that Leonard's parents were Antonie Debord and Catherine Nicar and that Anne was the widow of Etienne Devever dit Debrantigny.2 Leonard's wife, Anne, died on 27 November 1694 in ville de Quebec at Hotel-Dieu leaving him a widower. He married second on 30 September 1697 Francoise Milot at Notre Dame de Quebec.1
