Joyce married James Olmsted, son of James Olmsted and Jane Bristow, on 26 October 1605 in Great Leighs, County Essex, England, at St. Mary the Virgin Church.1,2 James & Joyce had children: Faith [1/07/1606-3/03/1627], Frances [2/14/1609-2/14/1609 ], Mabel [9/30/1610-2/18/1621], Nicholas [2/16/1612-8/31/1684][m. 9/28/1640 Sarah Loomis], James III [1/22/1615-d.y.], Nehemiah [11/10/1618-10/02/1657][m. Elizabeth Burr] & Mary [4/18/1621-4/24/1621]. [These are all baptismal & burial dates at Fairsted except Faith's baptismal which was at Great Leighs.] Joyce departed this life in Fairsted.1,2 She was buried at Fairsted, County Essex, England, in the churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin.3
