George was born circa 1540 in Tiverton, Devonshire, England.1 George married Mary Lawrence circa 1563 in Tiverton. In 1569, George appears on a muster lilst as a gonner.2 On his death bed, he made a nuncupative will. George departed this life in Tiverton. He was buried there in St. Peter's Churchyard on Wednesday, 6 February 1608.1 His will was probated in 1608 at Court of the Archdeaconry, Exeter, Devonshire, England.3
