Jane was born circa 1577 in Devonshire, England. Jane married Thomas Cornish, son of George Cornish and Mary Lawrence, circa 1597. Thomas and Jane had children: Elizabeth [chr. 7/17/1598][m. 4/11/1627 John Jennings], Richard [chr. 8/07/1600][m. Elizabeth Brown], Judith [chr. 4/16/1603][m. 7/02/1623 John Goche], George [chr. 8/11/1605], Margaret [1607][m. 1/26/1627/28 Roger Duder], Catherine [chr. 3/22/1608/09], Catherine [chr. 11/25/1611], George [chr. 6/23/1613], Jone [chr. 2/02/1616/17-2/26/1618/19] & Johane [chr. 10/10/1619-3/03/1627/28].1 Jane departed this life in Tiverton. She was buried there in St. Peter's Churchyard on Saturday, 25 April 1643.1
