Leverett Chittenden

Leverett was born on Wednesday, 18 September 1771 in North Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Jairus Chittenden. Leverett married Ruth Baldwin, daughter of Abiel Baldwin and Mehitable Johnson, circa 1794 in New Durham, Greene County, New York. Leverett & Ruth had children: Sally [d. 8/11/1878 age 83], Alanson Baldwin [9/20/1797-4/11/1853], Daniel [1800-1836], Curtis B. [1802-1843], Leverett [1804-1863], Matthias [1807], Emeline [circa 1809] & Rebecca [circa 1811].1 Leverett departed this life on Saturday, 9 January 1841 in New Durham at age 69 years, 3 months and 22 days.
