Enumerated in this household were John Lenton [35 Lincolnshire], his wife: Ann [35 Lincolnshire], Emma [10 Lincolnshire], Julia [10 Lincolnshire], William Baxter [15 Lincolnshire], John Johnson [18 Lincolnshire] & Jane Chester [18 Lincolnshire].² Jane married George Priestley, son of Brown Priestley and Ann (?), on 13 August 1860 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.³ Jane and her husband, George, were listed on the 1881 English census living in Nettleham. Enumerated in this household were George Priestley [61 Welton, Lincolnshire] and his wife Jane [58 Little Torrington, Lincolnshire]. George was listed as a cattle dealer.⁴
