     Therese was born on Monday, 4 January 1700 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 5 January 1700 in the church of La Visitation.1 Therese married Antoine Rivard dit Lanouette, son of Pierre Rivard dit Lanouette and Catherine Trottier, on 30 April 1736 in Champlain at the church of La Visitation.2 Antoine & Therese had children: Joseph-Antoine [3/19/1737-4/06/1737], Antoine [4/01/17386/24/1797-][m. 11/22/1762 Marie-Joseph Rivard], Joseph [11/17/1739-4/15/1803][m. 10/27/1765 Marie Charlotte Bergeron] & Francois [8/04/17435/23/1813][m. 10/14/1765 Genevieve Francoise Lefebvre].3 Therese's husband, Antoine, died on 1 December 1762 in Batiscan leaving her a widow. Therese departed this life on Monday, 6 December 1762 in Batiscan at age 62 years, 11 months and 2 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Francois Xavier on Tuesday, 7 December 1762.4
