Hannah was born the 10th day of the 2nd month 1665 at the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York.1 Prior to her marriage, she wrote a letter to her parents.
... “And dear father and mother, I may also acquaint you that one Benjamin Field, the youngest son of my friend Suannah Field, has tendered his love to me – the question he has indeed proposed as concerning marriage the which as yet I have not at present rejected not given much way to, nor do I intend to proceed nor let out my affection too much towards him till I have well considered the thing and have yours nad friends advice and consent concerning it.”….
Hannah married Benjamin Field, son of Anthony Field and Sarah (?), on 30 November 1691 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York.2 1698, Hannah and her husband, [ROF:Hempstead Town] were listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Benjamin Field, his wife: Hannah, children: Benjamin, John, Anthony & Samuel, negros Jo & Betty. Hannah died on Friday, 30 December 1707 in the Town of Flushing, Queens County, Long Island, New York, soon after the birth of her son, Robert on the 7th day of September.
