     Thomas was born on Sunday, 3 August 1664 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Thomas married Thankful Mason on 17 June 1689 in Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Thomas made his will on 25 December 1730 at Swansea Township, Bristol County, Massachusetts.

"Thomas Bowen of the Town of Swanzey .... yeoman; being grown Aged " made his will 25 December, 1730. Bequests were as follows:
To my beloved wife Thankfull all my housold goods and Stoke of Cattle and my movable Estate fully to be at Her Dispose During har Life for her Support and to help my two Daughters Namly Mary and Hannah wives of Gilbert and Charles Seamans and what Remains of Sd goods or Chatles after my wifes Decease shall be Equally Devided to my sd two Daughters or their heirs: Excepting the Housold goods that I Have in possesion : that I gave to my Daughter Marcey Luther Deceasd which good I give to my grand Child Lydia Luther: Daughter of my sd Daughter Marcey at the age of Eighteen years"
To "my Daughter Katheren Curtice one Cow or the vallue of a good Cow in money"
" I have given to my Eldes Son Josiah Bowen Lands by a Deed of gift"
"I have given to my Son Isaac Lands by a Deed of gift"
"I have given to my Son Stephen Lands by a Deed of gift"
"I have given to my Son Samuel one Hundred and fifty pound in Currant money and he has Recived sd money "
"I have given to my Son Nathaniel a Deed of gift of my house and Land where I now Dwell"
"and I have given to my Son Richard one Hundred pounds in money Received by him"
To "my Son John one Hundred pounds in Currant bill of Credit to be paid by my Executrix"
To "my Grand Son Constant Luther the Sum of three pounds money"
To "wife Thankfull the use and profite of the one half of a peice of Salt meadow Lying between the meadow of my Son Samuel and my Son Nathaniel on New meadow river in Swanzey During her Life and after her Decease to my Son Stephen"
I make .... my well beloved wife Thankfull Bowen my Sole Executrix"
The witnesses were Thomas Wood, Jr. (who signed by a mark), Rebecca Wood (who signed by a mark) and Joseph Mason.1

Thomas departed this life on Monday, 17 June 1743 in Swansea Township, Bristol County, Massachusetts. His will was probated on 21 June 1743.2
