William Boswell

     William was born on Sunday, 29 March 1767 in Maryland. William married Barbara Heim, daughter of Johan Andreas Heim and Maria Catharina Martzen, circa 1789 in Frederick County, Maryland. William & Barbara had 10 children: Mary "Polly" [1790-1867], Maria Margreth [1792-1867], Elizabeth [1794-1867], Catherine [1796-1/01/1873], child [1798-1798], Thomas [1799-3/02/1875], Jacob S. [12/24/1801-4/29/1891][m. 11/07/1822 Anna Marie Combs], George [1803], Priscilla [5/10/1805-1/16//1878][m. 2/07/1832 Henry Kessler] & Sarah [1807]. The 1800 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at District 3, Frederick County, Maryland, the family of William Boswell [10010:3101]. William departed this life on Tuesday, 10 February 1807 in Frederick County at age 39 years, 10 months and 9 days. He died at 5:00 pm of consumption at age 39.10.13 years. At this time, nine of his 10 children were still living.¹ He was buried there in the Evangelical Lutheran Churchyard on Wednesday, 11 February 1807.¹
