Annie Blosser

F, b. 24 February 1798, d. 1861
     Annie was born on Saturday, 24 February 1798 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Annie married Abraham D. Beery, son of Jacob Beery and Nancy Geil, in 1820 in Bremen, Rush Creek Township, Fairfield County, Ohio. Abraham & Annie had children: Annie [2/24/1821], Peter B. [5/27/1822-7/09/1908][m. 1847 Sarah Blosser & 2nd 1896 Charlotte], Lydia [2/--/1825], Mary [12/--/1827], Daniel B. [7/03/1830]. Sarah [11/01/1833], & Barbara [1835]. Abraham became a minister to the Brethren in Christ church. Annie's husband, Abraham, died on 23 July 1839 in Logan County, Ohio, leaving her a widow. Several years after her husband's death, Annie moved to Adams County, Indiana with her daughter, Mary's family. 25 June 1860, the U.S. Federal Census listed Annie living in the home of her daughter at Root Township, Adams County, Indiana. Enumerated in this household were Abram Huddle [35 Ohio], his wife: Mary [32 Ohio], Emanuel [12 Ohio], William [11 Ohio], Peter [8 Indiana], Caroline [6 Indiana], Noah [4 Indiana], Eli [2 Indiana], and Anna Beery [53 Pennsylvania].1 Annie departed this life in 1861 in Root Township, Adams County, Indiana. She was buried there in Beery Cemetery.
