Eleanor married John Whitbred, son of Thomas Whitbred, in England. Eleanor was born. Eleanor's husband, John, died before November 1628 in Upper Gravenhurst leaving her a widow. On her death bed, she made a nuncupative will at Elstow, Bedfordshire, England.
The last will and testament, of Ellenor Whitbread late of Elstowe deceased uttered by her in her life time and since her death put into writinge as followeth, The said Ellenor Whitebread beinge of pfect memorie did in the presence of William Whitebread and Henry Whitebread utter her minde touchinge the disposinge of her worldlie goods as followethvizt. Imprimis she gave unto William Whitebread her eldest sonne her silver measure and after his decease to his eldest sonne Henry Whitebread and after his decease to his eldest sonne William for to be a standartd for ever unto the heire of the Whitebreads. It' she gave tnto William Whitebread her godsonne a silve spoone. It' she gave unto Henry Whitebread her godsonne a silver spoone and unto Ellenor Whitebread her goddaughter his sister a silver spoone and poridgpot. It' she gave unto William Spencer a silver spoone beinge my godsonne. It' she gave unto Ellenor Whitebread her goddaughter daughter unto John Whitebread a silver spoone & a porridgpot. It' she gave unto Ellenor Chapman her goddaughter a porrigpott if ever she come for it. It' she gave unto John Whitebread her godsonne a silver spoone. It' she gave unto Thomas Spencer xlvj s. viij d. It' she willed her sonne John Whitehead to pay all her debts and to be her Executor.1
Eleanor departed this life in Elstow. At the time of her death, she was living in the home of her youngest son, John. She was buried at Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England, in in the churchyard of St. Giles. Her will was probated on 18 April 1629.
