     Henry was born in Upper Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire, England. He was christened there on 9 January 1576 in St. Giles Church.2 Henry married Elizabeth Leventhrope circa 1602. Henry and Elizabeth had children: Henry [m. Elizabeth Whitbred [his first cousin, daughter of William]], John, Elizabeth [bp. 12/06/1607], Frances, Eleanor [m. 6/22/1634 Robert Sheering], Mary & Anne [m. 6/23/1636 Samuel Baker].3 Henry made his will on 14 December 1633 at Cardington, Bedfordshire, England.

He mentioned wife, Elizabeth; son Henry [sole executor]; son John; daughters Elizabeth [and her daughter Eleanor], Frances, Eleanor, Mary and Anne. He appointed his brother, William, William Brudden of Hitchin, Thomas Margett of Bedford and Henry Whitbred of Lewton overseers.

Henry departed this life in Cardington, Bedfordshire, England. He was buried at Cardington, Bedfordshire, England, in the churchyard of St. Mary the Virgin. His will was probated on 25 January 1634. On the 8th of October 1639, Henry & his brother, William sold property in Upper Gravenhurst. It was stated that their father was the late John Whitbred & their grandfather, the late Thomas Whitbred.4
