Charles-Etienne Besnet

Charles-Etienne was born in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Louis Besnier & Jacqueline Charron. He was christened there on 22 July 1705 in St-Pierre Church.1 Charles-Etienne married Marie-Genevieve Lescarbot dit Bosseron, daughter of Jean Lescarbot dit Bosseron and Marie-Anne Baudouin, on 24 October 1730 in St-Sulpice, Quebec, Canada, at St-Sulpice Church.2 Charles Etienne & Marie Genevieve had children: Etienne Charles [10/07/1731][m. 8/11/1755 Marie Marguerite Deguire dit Larose], Marie Agathe [8/19/1733][m. 6/26/1752 Joseph Bonin], Marie Louise [8/25/1735-4/18/1819][m. 1/08/1759 John Baptiste Rivet dit Rive], Louis [10/01/1736] & Marie Marguerite [1/12/1738-8/04/1738]. Charles-Etienne departed this life on Tuesday, 12 January 1790 in Lanoraie, Berthier County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Thursday, 14 January 1790.3
