Charles was born in 1672 in Prince George County, Maryland. Charles married Mrs. Mary Wolstead on 23 September 1709 in Prince George's County, Maryland.2 Charles and Mary had children: Charles and possibly Eleanor. Charles married 2nd Mary Price in 1712 in Maryland.3 Charles and Mary had children: Mary, Ninian, Joshua, Rachel & possibly others . Charles made his will on 24 March 1740.
In the name of God Amen the Last Will & Testament of Capt. Charles Beall of Prince Georges County being weak & Discomposed in Body but in Good Sound and Perfect memory Doth Constitute & appoint this his Last Will & Testament in manner and Form as followeth – I Recommend my Soul to Almighty God in hopes he will Pardon all my Past Sins & I resign my Body to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the discretion of Executors hereafter to be Named and after Just Debts and Funeral Charges is paid as for my worldly Goods I give as followeth – Item I give and bequeath to my well loved wife Mary Beall my now dwelling & the Land that is Called Bealls Adventure not to Sell or Destroy any Timber of said Land more than what may be for the Plantation and the Mill upon the provisions he will keep it in Good Repair During her Naturall Life and after Decease I give the the whole Moroty lf Land that I have on the South Side of the Mill Branch & the mill to my Son Charles Beall *& his heirs Lawfully begotten for Ever _ Never to be Sold nor let but from year to year only – a tract of Land Called the Constitution four hundred Seventy three acres lying on the Land of Bealls Adventure to ve at his own Disposal and onehunered acres Called Pitcheltons Rent lying near John Wilcox’s to him & his heirs for Ever –
Item I give and Bequeath to my Son Ninian Beall all my Land that lyeth between the Mill Branch and Pine Branch with the South East forth to the head of the said Fork where there is four marked Chestnutts Trees & four Springs Close by the said Trees at the foot of a great Hill that Leadeth to Mr. Wm. Scott’s & from thence there is a Line marked & as it is marked to part him & his Brother Joshua’s Land for Ever and the Land that I have now bequeathed is to go no further as the Mill Branch then to Mr. Wm. Scotts bounded white birch & the Land so Devised not to be Disposed of by Sale nor Lease but from year to year & to remain to him and his heirs Lawfully Begotten for Ever –
Item I give & bequeath unto my Son all the Land belonging unto me between the Pine branch andye Beaver Dam Branch to the Bounds before _____ in my Sons Ninians part not to be Disposed of by Sale nor Lease but from year to year & to remain to him & his heirs Lawfully begotten for Ever then also three hundred Acres of Land Called Cranford Adventure joyning to a Tract of Land belonging to Mr. Hewbon to him & his heirs and assigns & to their Disposal for Ever
Item I give and bequeath to my two Sons Ninian & Joshua Beall all that Tract of Land belonging to me Called Danby lying in Dorset County on the Eastern Shore Near the head of Great Chaplank to be Equally Divided between them they Sell it and is not the Said Ninian to have the South Side of a Branch of Wallis Creek running through said Land & the Said Joshua to have all the North Side as the said Branch to them and their Heirs & at their Disposing for Ever
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Beall all that part of a Trat of part of Land belonging to me Called Dispute Coontaining two hundred acres also my part of a Tact of Land Called Charles & William Containing Seventy five acres my part to her & the heirs of her body Lawfully Begotten for Ever
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel Beall that Tract or part of Land Called Magruder & Bealls Honesty Containing One hundred Eighteen Acres also one other Tract of Other part of Land Called Gruble Thickett Containing one hundred and thirty three Acres to her and the heirs of her Body Lawfully Begotten for Ever & in case Either of the Sisters Die without heirs Lawfully Begotten of their Bodies then the Other Sister and her heirs to inherit and possess forever and in case Either of the Brothers Die without Heirs his Land is to be Equally Divided between the Other two Brothers & their Heirs for Ever –
Item I leave all my Right to a Tract of Land Called Charles & Benjamin to be Sold to pay Discharges and Just Debts & to be made Over by my Executors or Executor and all the Rest of my Personal Estate to be Equally Divided between my wife & Children & also I do hereby appoint my well loved wife Mary Beall & my Son Joshua Beall Executors of this my Last Will & Testament revoking & making all Other Wills void & of no effect – Charles Beall his Seal
