William Bassett1

M, b. circa 1621, d. 29 August 1684
     William was born circa 1621 in England. William married Hannah Dickerman, daughter of Thomas Dickerman and Elizabeth Simms, on 7 November 1648.2 William made his will on 1 January 1679 at New Haven County, Connecticut. Bassett, Wm. Will made Jan. 1, 1679. Bequeaths to daughters Bia, Bassett, Phebe Rose, and Hannah Parker, and to son Joseph Jues. John Cooper and Abram Dickerman to be overseers. Witnesses: Thomas Yale Sr., and John Clarke.3 William departed this life on Tuesday, 29 August 1684 in New Haven County, Connecticut.4 The inventory of William's estate was taken in September 1684. His inventory was valued at £ 50: 10s: 00.3
