His will, dated Feby. 18, 1777, was proved ApI. 26. 1781. On Nov. 28, 1757, "Petition from Daniel Wright of N. Y., merchant, and owner of a sloop 'Keziah.' 6 guns, for a commission for James Parker, to command his sloop," a privateer. ( N. Y. County Surrogate's Court, Liber 33 of Wills, p. 265.) Issue: no.495 Elizabeth, b. 1743; m. Benjamin James, of Pennsylvania, 1767; b. 1742; d. after 1799. Benjamin James was a Loyalist, and at the close of the War removed to Nova Scotia.
