Peter Wilcocks

     Peter was born in 1691. Peter married Phebe Badgley, daughter of Anthony Badgley and Elizabeth Thorne, on 15 September 1715 in Jamaica, Queens County, Long Island, New York. Peter & Phebe had children: Peter Jr. [1718-2/27/1764], Sarah [1722-9/17/1774] [m. 1745 Joseph Alen], William [1724-10/20/1800], John[1727-11/22/1776] & Stephen. Peter departed this life on Wednesday, 1 June 1768 in New Providence Town, Essex County, New Jersey, at age 77 years. He was buried there in the Wilcox and Badgley Cemetery.¹
