Sophia Winpigler

     Sophia was born on Tuesday, 19 August 1788 in Frederick County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Franz Heinrich & Sarah [Ridgely] Winbegler. Sarah was the daughter of Westall & Urith Ridgely. Sophia married Johan Georg Heim, son of Johan Andreas Heim and Maria Catharina Martzen, on 30 May 1810 in Frederick City, Frederick County, Maryland, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.¹ George & Sophia had children: Nathaniel 5/20/1812- 1880][m. 1837 Lucinda Blackman], John Andrew [5/20/1812-9/17/1891][m.
