William de Warenne 6th Earl of Surrey

     William de was born in 1166 in County Surrey, England. William was the son of Hamelin de Warenne (Anjou) and Isabel de Warenne. William married 2nd Maud Marshall, daughter of William Marshall 4th Earl of Pembroke. and Isabel Fitz Gilbert de Clare, on 13 October 1225 in England. William inherited the title of Earl of Surrey in 1202, and received the title of Earl of Salisbury by right of marriage to Maud in 1225. William departed this life on Sunday, 27 May 1240 in England.
