Son-in-law William Sprague 15 shillings. Rest equally to daughter's children and to my daughter Mercy Sprague viz Mary's children: Hannah Phillips, Joseph Cook, Abigail Cutler, Samuel Cook. A third part to daughter Elizabeth's children: Elizabeth Tourtellot and Rebecca Williams. To daughter Mercy Sprague a third part. James departed this life on Wednesday, 4 April 1753 in Smithfield at age 85 years, 1 month and 27 days. His will was probated on 13 April 1753.
