Mercy Todd

     On 18 February 1655, she was christened in New Haven County, Connecticut, at the First Congregational Society.. Mercy was born on Thursday, 18 February 1655 in New Haven County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Christopher & Grace [Middlebrook] Todd. Mercy married Captain John Bassett, son of William Bassett and Hannah Dickerman, circa 1675 in New Haven County, Connecticut. Mercy departed this life on Thursday, 8 April 1717 in New Haven County, Connecticut. She was buried in the city burying ground.
