     Robert was born in 1610 in England. On 13 July 1635, Robert left London aboard the ship, "James", mastered by Jonathan May, bound for New England. Listed among the passengers were Thomas Terry [aged 28 years], Robert Terry [aged 25 years] 7 Richard Terry [aged 17 years]. They landed at Salem, Massachusetts..2 By 1640 he had moved to Southampton and Flushing by 1651. Robert and Sarah had a son, John. Robert departed this life before 1675 in the Town of Flushing. He did not appear on the evaluation of estates in 1675, but his son John did.3
