     Selah was born on Saturday, 6 January 1759 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He was the son of Eliakim Strong & Hannah Seward.1 Selah married Eunice Baldwin, daughter of Abiel Baldwin and Mehitable Johnson, circa 1782 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.2 Selah &Eunice had 8 children: Charles [8/17/1783-3/28/1859][m.
