      Sarah was born on Monday, 9 December 1709 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.1 It is quite possible that she is the Sarah Snowden who became a member of the church on 4 February 1739.2 Sarah married Benjamin Emmons on 19 January 1741 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. They were married Reverand Joseph Sewall, who had several years earlier married her sister, Abigail to Samuel Torrey.
