Rebecca Smith

     Rebecca was born in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Smith of old Wethersfield. Rebecca married Samuel Smith Jr., son of Lieutenant Samuel Smith and Elizabeth Smythe. It appears that Rebecca was unhappy with this marriage & had another love, Nathaniel Borman. He left her as an honorable move so that she could free herself & marry the man she loved. He went to Virginia before 1664 & did not return. She married Nathaniel in 1669.
