Mapes, daughter of John Emmett Mapes and Phila Ann Townsend, on 30 September 1885. Fred & Jennie had children: Frederick Ray [12/01/1889], Lillie J. [4/05/1893] & Edith L. [12/24/1894]. 25 June 1900, Frederick and his wife, Jennie, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Stockbridge Township, Ingham County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Fred W. Sharp [37 Michigan England & England-Oct. 1862], his wife: Jennie L. [36 Michigan-October 1863], F. children: Roy [10 Michigan-December 1889], Lillie J. [7 Michigan-April 1893], Edith L. [4 Michigan-February 1895],& father-in-law, John E. Mapes [66 New York-February 1834][widow]. Fred & Jennie had been married 14 years with 3 children, all living.1 8 May 1910, Frederick and his wife, Jennie, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Stockbridge Township, Ingham County, Michigan. They have been married 24 years with 3 children, all living.2 Frederick departed this life in 1925 in Stockbridge Township, Ingham County, Michigan. He was buried there in the Oaklawn Cemetery. The inscription on his tombstone reads: [Large Monument] SHARP - personal stone - - FATHER - fRED w. - 1862 - 1925.3
