Bertha Sexsmith

     Bertha was born on Thursday, 22 April 1880 in Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Fletcher Sexsmith and Margaret Kehoe. Bertha married Phillip Meraw, son of Louis-Treffle Merand and Harriett Pelland dit Beausoliel, after 31 March 1901 in the Village of Tweed, Hungerford Township, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada.1 Bertha departed this life on Friday, 31 October 1947 in Picton, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. She was buried there in Glenwood Cemetery on Monday, 3 November 1947.
