Mary Sage

     Mary was born on Saturday, 8 May 1694 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of David Jr. & Mary [Coultman] Sage.¹ Mary married Thomas Stedman, son of Sergeant John B. Stedman II and Susannah Francis, on 31 December 1713 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. Thomas & Mary had children: Mary [11/06/1714], Martha [8/18/1716], Elizabeth [3/01/1718], Elisha [7/09/1722] [m. 3/08/1750 Jerusha Stoddart], Timothy [11/20/1727-8/14/1757], Justus [6/04/1533] [4/27/1756 Amy Merrell], & Anne [6/20/1735].¹ Mary's husband, Thomas, died in January 1763 in Wethersfield leaving her a widow. Mary departed this life after 15 March 1763 in Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
