     John was born in Cannoc, Staffordshire, England. He was the son of John Salway & Elizabeth or Isabel Thromwin. She was the daughter of Sir William Thromvin. John married Isolde Washbourne, daughter of John Washburn and Jane Mussard, circa 1402 in Worchestershire, England. He became Lord of Stanford in Worchestershire in the 3rd year of Henry IV [30 September 1401-29 September 1402]. John departed this life in the 8th year of Henry V [21 March 1419/1420-20 March 1420/1421]!!He died siesed of the his estate at Stanford and Richards Castle, in the county of Herefordshire. in Stanford, Worchestershire, England.2
