     Jean-Baptiste was born on Monday, 4 January 1677 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. On 11 January 1677, he was christened in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the chapel of Dombourg in the church of Notre Dame.1 Jean-Baptiste married Charlotte Badel on 16 February 1711 in Lachine, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at Sts-Anges Gardiens Church.2 Jean-Baptiste's wife, Charlotte, died circa 5 June 1711 in Montreal, leaving him a widower. Jean-Baptiste married 2nd Catherine-Antoinette St-Amant dit Pagesi on 19 October 1711 in Champlain, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada, at the church of La Visitation.3 Jean-Baptiste & Catherine-Antoinette had children: Joseph [8/13/1712-12/04/1783][m. 11/19/1742 Josephe Limousin dit Beaufort] & Marie Josephe [1/18/1715-8/18/1796][m. 7/17/1738 Jacques-Claude Touchette dit Lafleur] & Marie Genevieve Catherine [5/08/1721-6/01/1770][m. 7/24/1747 Joseph Dubois].4 Jean-Baptiste departed this life on Tuesday, 18 June 1743 in Cap-Sante, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada.5 On the same day, he was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Familie.6
